BAU Group specialise in delivering high quality residential projects.

Operating from the Northern Beaches in Sydney, we have completed projects from Palm Beach to the eastern suburbs. We work diligently and pride ourselves on developing positive relationships with both clients and tradespeople. Due to the director’s long and vast experience in construction, we have developed strong contacts within the industry which greatly assists in achieving a high standard of building on time and within the expectations of our clients.

OUR TEAM

David Schubert

Managing Director (Co Founder)

David has 28 years’ experience within the construction industry and has been exposed to a multitude of projects, all adding to a diverse and comprehensive knowledge of the Construction industry. Having been trained as an apprentice carpenter and progressed through the managerial ranks, his experience has covered most facets of the construction industry. David’s construction experience has been varied with experience gained in residential, commercial and industrial construction. David has a passion for residential construction and David is completely focused on developing client relationships and ensuring that the building process is a positive experience. David has a clear understanding of site management, project programming, cost control and strong leadership skills. The objective of Bau Group reflects this ability with the creation of beautiful and well-crafted homes with a reliance on customer satisfaction along with the creation of a positive team environment.

Mita Kovacevich

Operations (Co Founder)

Mita has been involved in the building industry for more than 25 years now and has successfully completed several residential developments for himself, with a background in Engineering and a passion for Real Estate, Property and building, he has a wealth of experience in not only the building industry but a number of other industries that adds to his skill set. Mita has a complete focus on ensuring that our client’s needs are met at all time’s and has a proven track record in Project Management and the delivery of projects. With a keen eye for both detail and design Mita brings his own experiences to the process which has proven invaluable.

Louise Schubert

Contracts Administration

Louise has been in the property industry for the last 25 years both in the UK and Australia. Bsc (hons) in Estate Management, an associate membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. After deciding to stay in Australia, completed a Post Graduate Diploma at UTS in Urban Estate Management covering all things property. For the last few years Louise has worked in project management (client side), being involved in the pre-purchase, planning and construction processes for both residential and commercial property. Currently assists David in the administration of Bau Group with emphasis on communication and systems that support the building processes to achieve an efficient and streamlined process.

Adam Grigg

Project manager

Adam has 28 Year’s experience in the building industry, in particular, the construction of luxury homes. Starting out as an apprentice carpenter, Adam worked his way up to becoming a foreman before starting his own business. Adam developed a passion for building luxury homes and has a very keen eye for detail and is focused on delivering projects to the highest standard they can be. He has experience across all facets of the building industry including Residential and commercial projects.

Stephen Fagan

Contract Administration

Stephen has been involved in the luxury residential sector of the building industry for the past 8 Years, with a degree in Civil Engineering and a background in Contracts administration he has a complete understanding of the construction process. Stephen has worked on any number of luxury residential homes that have been delivered to the highest of standard. At Bau, Stephen is responsible for the estimating of the projects and has a passion for contract administration and programming of the projects.
